Embark on a transformative journey with our Acting for Theatre course, designed to hone your skills and elevate your performance. Over four intensive classes, this course immerses you in the art and craft of acting for theatre roles. This course is ideal for the actor who wants to take their work to a deeper level for both the stage and screen. You'll delve into fundamental acting techniques, refine monologues and scenes, and master the nuances of character portrayal and emotional depth. Through rigorous practice sessions and personalized feedback, you'll build confidence, preparing you to shine in front of casting directors and panels.

Taught by professional actor Jonathan Mason , who has appeared on numerous stages across Canada and who has spent the past five seasons with the famed Stratford Festival (including Romeo in Shakespeare’s most famous play), Jonathan knows of what he speaks. He brings to his teaching a wealth of knowledge and in-depth training. He holds a Masters with Distinction from one of the world’s top acting schools The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) in the UK. He was also a member of one of the most rigorous and competitive programs in North America, The Birmingham Conservatory, which pays actors to train while becoming repertory members of the Stratford Festival. He has also been a faculty member of New Image College (Vancouver) and the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts.
